University of Basilicata

UniBas - University of Basilicata - was born in the aftermath of the severe earthquake which struck both the Basilicata and Campania regions on 23 November 1980. It has four Departments: Department of European and Mediterranean Cultures, Environment, and Cultural Heritage; Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics; Department of Science; Department of Humanities; and two Schools: School of Engineering, and School of Agricultural, Forest, Food, and Environmental Sciences. UNIBAS, even thanks to its small size, is making a deep effort to serving students, scholarships and society by carrying out research activities aimed at enhancing innovation and sustainable development. According with the EHEA principles and tools, our main purposes deal with enhancing pivotal thought, to shape brilliant professionalisms by exposing them to competitive environments at both national and international levels providing new-fangled knowledges with a positive impact on our local communities.
