Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria
Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria is a state university and was founded in 1968. Itcombines a commitment to research and teaching in the six departments: Architecture–dArTe; Heritage-Architecture Urbanism; Agriculture; Law, Economics and Human Sciences; Civil, Energy, Environmental and Material Engineering; Information Engineering, Infrastructures, and Sustainable Energy. The different disciplines and the many teaching and research activities are related to the surrounding territory, with the creation of a kind of environmental polytechnic ,with a strong emphasis on the themes of architecture, landscape, urban planning and infrastructure related to the green economy; then the area in law, economics and human sciences studies the economic issues relating to archaeology and cultural heritage, law and science of primary education.
