The University of Naples “L’Orientale” is the oldest school of Sinology and Oriental Studies in continental Europe. With its rich tradition in languages, cultural and social studies of Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, the university has been since its very foundation a centre for study and encounter between cultures. Our university reflects a world where people of different languages, cultures, religions and multiplicity of thought, art forms and traditions come into ever closer contact. Thanks to our partnership with Chinese Universities and cultural institutions in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Xiamen, Wenzhou and Xi’an, we are able to guarantee the incoming and outcoming mobility of students and scholars with China. Furthermore, our cooperation with the Master in Global Management for China, the C.Met 05 Network (studies on industrial policies), the Confucius Institute and many other research centres provide a wide range of opportunities in learning, research and placement.
